It’s no secret that I wasn’t impressed when I played Star Wars Outlaws at Summer Game Fest. The Reputation system applies to Kay’s relationships with Syndicates. If Kay fosters trust with Syndicates, she can expect better contracts, cheaper store prices, and access to new territories. Should she fall out of favor with one, she can expect to be hunted. “It’s all about playing the Syndicates off one another, making choices, dilemmas in terms of how you hand in a quest, that type of thing,” said Gerighty.
Star Wars Outlaws’ open world is spread across multiple “handcrafted” planets of “manageable” sizes. The planets (final number TBA) “could be two to three zones” in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, according to Gerighty. As the director noted, this is a “crude analogy” as the regions of Odyssey’s Greece range in size, though it should be taken to mean the planets will not be near-endless areas filled with procedurally generated content.

CNN’s Omar Jimenez was present in the Dodgers clubhouse as they celebrated their win at Yankee Stadium, saying that he could “barely even see the camera” because of the champagne and beer which had been sprayed in revelry.

A well thought out design choice is the freedom players have to build their character to their own liking. Not being tied to your initial choice of starting archetype means you have the flexibility to try different weapons and skills.
One element I felt that was really excellently done and something I would like to see more of is the almost comic book style cut scenes that serve up the lore. It’s a stark contrast to the oft flat feeling interactions with the games many NPC’s.
There are multiple ways to fight your enemies in New World. During the first few days after launch, open-world PvP was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had in a game for some years. Players flag-up for PvP to get an experience boost and a gathering boost. Once they’re flagged, you and anyone else who is flagged can fight anywhere in the open-world. And so chaos ensued. I was out on a simple quest to a nearby PoI to destroy some supply boxes when two players from the Marauders – the disgusting green faction, nothing like the mighty purple Syndicate – began to chase me down.
